To all of those who claim that Mexican food can only be so good, I present to you:

The Sombrero Platter.

Better than any Mexican food I've had in San Antonio (and I've had a lot), by a longshot. Cheaper, too.

I think I've been to that place like 6-7 years ago -- or it could be some other place. I looked it up on the Interwebs it's location and seems about right.

Don't remember much about it since I am a vegetarian and had to order something off the menu (specially made).

I think my amigos ordered that. Even if it was a different place, the platter had a plethora of items and was shapped like a sombrero.

Ehhh, I don't remember. Whatever. I'm not sure why I posted on this thread. But, yeah, Edinburg. Go Broncs.

we go to the mcallen location every year, after an afternoon of blasting doves. there's a dude there with an awesome Mr. T starter kit, and apparently most of his chains were gifts from drug dealer patrons.

everything i've ever had there was excellent. the queso flameado is awesome.
