Caribbean destinations?

I am looking for a good tropical destination in Mexico or the Caribbean. It's going to be a group of 6-10 young professionals in their mid 20's. Looking to go in early June for 4-5 days (should hurricanes be a concern?). Definitely want a place that has a good nightlife, but also good beaches, snorkeling, deep sea fishing, etc.

Thanks to our line of work, we all have a lot of airline miles and hotel points (Starwood) and would prefer to use those if possible. Don't know much about the all inclusive places but wouldn't be against one so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Assuming it is an all male party, Cancun - the women out number the men about 20/25 to 1.

If it's a mixed group, farther South to Playa.

It will be a mixed group with the vast majority being single.
