Car won't shift gears properly

My automatic car is having problems shifting from gear to gear. I speed up and have to take my foot off the acclerator to get it to switch up. Just started yesterday afternoon. The trans fluid is full and clean, so I have no other idea what to look at. Any help is appreciated.

You can try changing the fluid, even though it looks clean, because ATF is "high detergent" oil, and does a lot of cleaning of internal transmission parts. Sometimes, if you are lucky, a piece of grit will jam some little passage in the trans, and clean fluid will fix it.
Then it is off to a trans shop to analyze the problem which can be internal or external. Do you have a flashing trans code light-Hondas have a "D" for drive light that will flash. This can give the shop a road map of where to start on the problem. Could be fairly minor, but could be very expensive to rebuild the whole thing.

Thanks AH. I'm taking it in tomorrow for someone to look at. Hell, I've been talking about buying a new car soon anyway, so if the repair is expensive I might just get rid of it. Thanks for the info.
