Car electrical question

What causes the lights in your car and yur headlights to dim slightly when your blinker is on and blinking. I wouldn't think my alternator is bad because the car always starts right up ok and the batery has never been weak and no other electrical problems are indicated.

Also my idle speed is normal, but this is when things dim, while I am sitting idling and I turn on the blinker or roll a winow down.

Any ideas?

Electrical components draw a little more current as they age.
The battery may be getting weak, and if it is four or more years old, you might just want to buy a new one.
The grounds attached to the frame in different places get a little corroded. The bulbs in the bulb sockets get wear on their contact points and draw more current.
In short, there is probably nothing you can find that will change this, and on some new cars you will notice things like this going on. You could check the battery if you are sure it did not formerly do this.
