Car broken into, blood left behind

Can the cops go all CSI on a spot of dried blood and catch who did this?

Since nothing major was stolen and nobody was hurt, I'm guessing it's not worth the trouble.

****, you'll be lucky if they actually send a real officer over to take the report. depending on where you are at, they'll probably just take it over the phone.

no fingerprinting, or DNA testing unfortunately. at least you know they cut themselves trying to steal your **** though.

Yeah, sure. I'll just check with the boys down at the crime lab, they've got four more detectives working on the case. They got us working in shifts!

If you do meet up with the CSI guys, I'd like to know if they really do wear shades inside where it's dark. And also if they use flashlights outside during the day.

Thanks.

In a related story- A buddy of mine used to be an owner/manager of a bar on 6th street and he drove a miata. he basically left the window down and the car unlocked most of the time to prevent anyone from wanting to cut through the top to open the vehicle.

After getting his stereo ripped off he decided to simply put a bunch of fish hooks on wire leader up behind the radio. Every few weeks he would find a little blood trail on his floor board. I can ony image the surprise and the reflex reaction to pull your hand back when the barb wold first prick the skin. Which of course would only sinke the barb further into the flesh.

Anyhow just a good story related to cars and blood.

Same thing happened to me about three years ago. Still waiting for the forensics report to come back. Should come in any day now.

Our web host moved our site to a different server, requiring us to change the DNS entires on our domain name. However, HudsonHawk owns the domain names, and he lives in the Houston area, so... I e-mailed him about it, but I'm sure he's got bigger things on his plate right now.

Still not working for me at home or at work, but if it's working for some folks, then I guess he was able to make the switch. Should be fully up and running within 24 hours.
