Can Sam get invite to NYC?

im watching the MAC Champ game waiting on the Pac 12 game. Dan Orlovsky, color analyst, said Sam can get Heisman invite with a good showing tomorrow. Interesting comment from a national broadcaster. I love Sam but do not think he will get an invite this year, even if he shows well tomorrow

But that would be so awesome if he did and Kyler had to share the weekend with him. Lol

It would be cool, but maybe next year.

If I am not mistaken, electronic ballots went out on the 26th, and they have to be returned by 12/3. So theoretically if Sam has a stellar day tomorrow and Ky-Ky doesn’t, Sam could get some votes, and take some away from the BlowU QB.

The current methodology penalizes players that finish their season early, and helps (or can help) players that play this weekend. Basically, only teams playing for a championship can get an extra boost. Sort of unfair IMO.

Man good point now that you think of it.
Terrible looking back he could have racked up some stats vs Kansas, but instead had statistically one of his worst games.

I could see a possible invite but not as a serious candidate to actually win the thing...he just has not had THAT sort of a season. Kansas didn't help...he should have been rested so he could blow the doors off of JerrahWorld today...

I think if his Maryland and Kansas games had been on par with how he played in every other game, he might be like the "5th" invite. His numbers just aren't there in terms of wowing either the pass or run game, save for maybe rushing TDs. And he missed most of the Baylor game, which he arguably could have improved upon those numbers more.

Plus, he's a sophomore.

I think if he can get his pass efficiency rating up into the 160s-170s, and keep his rushing TD numbers the same, and... you know... win all the games, he'd be sitting pretty at the DAC.
