Can Mizzu do this?

A 65 footer at the halftime buzzer to take a 13 point lead to the locker room. They look like a team on a mission from God.

Memphis missing dunks, Mizzu banking in 3's (they got screwed), and hitting 65 footers. Yes, I think this may be their night. Plus they are just flat out out hustling Memphis. Should be a great finish.

Yes, Go Tigers - but as I was telling my buddy earlier who needs some consoling (he picked memphis to win it all) Mizzou's butthole will tighten up later as memphis makes a late run. So don't bet against memphis yet.

Apparently, Conference USA was that bad if not worse.

they should let wunderkind quin snyder coach the 2nd half....

this game was decided at about the 18:22 mark. memphis doesn't know what hit them. UConn should be worried.

Still a loooong way to go, but if Mizzou finishes this, it will be interesting to see if Mizzou can limit the effectiveness of Thabeet by getting him away from the basket as Bilas has been preaching all tournament long.

Mizzou's full court press has been dominating.

p.s.: Sure was enjoying watching Villanova before they took that away. Hope I don't jinx them. F Duke.

Memphis with a run, but they are also running out of time. Mizzou sure isn't sitting on the clock and that is probably a good thing.

mizzou's mistakes down the stretch are letting Memphis stay in it causing them to continue to foul enabling Mizzou to have a chance to get to triple digits from the FT line.

Missouri has never made it to the Final Four. Once Maryland made it, Missouri and Wake Forest are probably the two biggest basketball programs never to make it to the final weekend.

That Nova team would kill us. They've gotten so much better than when we played them.

Geez, that was one of the longest last 2 minutes ever. I'm just glad the coaches ran out of timeouts or the game still might not be over yet.

I think a team with multiple decent handlers can beat their press. Or if the refs decide call light contact, their aggressiveness will backfire.

i like anderson. i liked him at UAB. he's a hell of an upgrade from hairdo. and i like the style of play. i liked the style with strollin and the hogs, just hated strollin and the hogs. now i get the style without strollin. win-win. and they knocked out memphis, which doesn't hurt my feelings.

i'm rooting for them. them and the Izzos.

post distraction from hippie...

once you put a sig on, you sort of forget it is there...i just noticed what my sig is and has been since the middle of conference play last season when fran fraschilla made this statement. and it sounds crazy, but at the time, CA was elevating his play to the point where scouts where taking real notice. i hope someday CA writes a book and tells us the story of his senior year. he's obviously a great kid and has represented the University well. I know he more than anyone else wishes it would have turned out differently.

so, all that to say, should i keep the sig?

As the resident Husker fan here, I'm probably the BIGGEST Mizzou hater you could find on this board.

That said, if you can't get with these guys then you have a problem with yourself. They go 10 deep, have a fun style of basketball to watch, are very athletic, wear you down as the game goes along, and they play the game the right way. I especially feel good for Leo Lyons and DeMarre Carroll, who had to put up with Queenie Snyder for however long they did.

I'm the biggest Mizzou hater here, there's no doubt about it. But I know I'm also pulling for them the rest of this tournament.
