No, venti is twenty. Large is large. In fact, tall is large and grande is Spanish for large. Venti is the only one that doesn't mean large. It's also the only one that's Italian. Congratulations, you're stupid in three languages.

I haven't seen this movie, but it reminds me of when I stopped into the Starbucks on Beverly Glenn just on the Beverly Hills side of Mulholland Dr.

I asked for a Medium and the lady replied "Grande". I then said "Medium". She then said "Grande. Say it. Sayyyy Grandeeee."

I was very tempted to hop the counter and beat her to a pulp. But she was the manager and it would have disturbed the other girl behind the counter.

This was about 2000. A little before total world domination.

Not from whatever movie those quotes are from but I got tired of trying to sort out all of the fancy names for sizes and I just asked for a tall cup of coffee, wanting the big one. I was surprised to find that a tall is the fancy word for a small cup now. WTF???
 
I was in a bar last night and that whatever movie that quote is from was playing. I turned around when I heard that exchange and watched for about 30 seconds. What movie is it?

Starbucks makes crappy coffee. I want fresh ground black coffee in a French press for $1.50 or less, not 32 ounces of coffee flavored chocolate milk for six dollars.
 
I always order a large coffee at Starbucks. Here in Temple, they are laid back enough to just fill the order. Also, I don't lik their whatever stuff. I just get a large black coffee, and it is alright coffee. And if you want it under $1.50 don't go to McDonalds. McDonalds coffee is the same price here as the Starbucks. McDonalds has pretty good black coffee too. ONLY think worth putting in your body from McD's
 
1) Get to Starbucks before noon and order a "MILD", if you are ordering a black coffee. That will drastically improve your coffee drinking experience.

2) If that movie ever comes to Argentina, I'm totally going to see it. If it doesn't, I'm either renting an imported DVD or buying a copy on the street for ~US$1.50.

That scene is AWESOME! Paul Rudd kicks the **** out of that scene. The way he pops the Lire vs. Euro comment out right at the end....

I can only assume that it focuses on the battle, everyone shows up... and for some reason you can only post 9 movies. FRUSTRATING!! But I'll live.

Still love the coffee bit, but there were other good parts as well. And I love a movie that shows a little breast. As a country, we got away from that. I'm glad to see it's back.

I get weird looks at places like Starbucks just by ordering a black coffee.
