My bro-in-law knows a guy who knows him.

I received this text message a little while ago:

"Hey this is Cameron Rupp from the Texas baseball team and I just want you and your family to know we are dedicating this game to you"

I have Stage IV (metastatic) breast cancer. Even if he was funnin' me, it made me cry.

Now---HOOK 'EM HORNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very nice of him. Don't feel bad, I think everyone I know came up with something that they did to "jinx" the boys, including me. I celebrated way too much during the solo homers

This series is far from over. Count me in as one who put the jinx on. I took off my Texas polo and got rid of the tshirt underneath and put the polo back on. The only time during the post season i have worn my polo without the tshirt and this is what happens. Damn, if i had just put up with the heat in the living room a little longer. It's not like it was as bad as it was in Omaha.

This series is a long way from over. We need to take one out at a time and focus on tonight's game. Win or Lose, i couldn't be prouder of these guys!!!!

EyesofTexas - my ex wife's dad has been diagnosed as Stage IV as well this past month. My prayers go to you and your family just as it does to their family. Keep your head up your horns raised!!
