I can't stand the stupid automated answering systems the airlines use now. It seems like whenever I call the Continental line from the airport, someone makes an announcement and the system can't understand me. Just went through something similar with NWA/KLM. Now I'm stuck on hold with Air France (going on 27 minutes) waiting to talk to someone to make a seat change (reward seat on CO - can't do it online) and dang it if this hold music isn't making my ears bleed!?
