Seriously, what reporter is going to piss on a subject that is giving him a interview. Obviously, he is going to make him sound like a good guy.

And, I am not saying he is not.

But, this article is no reason to doubt Mack's reasons/moves.

What info do I need? The kid is already qualified and he loves, err, loved, Texas.

Mack's worried about the kid making his grades, and w/ the academic support at UT, only a true idiot fails out. He's clearly not a true idiot.

Mack made his decision and I don't agree w/ it. I'll pout and Mack won't ever know I'm grumpy. The next time Mack asks me for advice on recruiting will be the first. Hell, I'm still waiting for Greg Davis to call asking about playcalling.

Calhoun seems like a standup kid, and yep, I wish the good guys had gotten him. I'm not one of those "trust Mack" folks, but I figure he knows a whole lot more about recruiting than anyone who posts here, and if he didn't go after Calhoun, there's probably a viable reason.
