Cal -TCU

Patterson & Cumbie are a formidable combination when they have a QB, a couple of whom they developed. It's been a few years since they had a good one.

Proves you can win without a QB, albeit against an inferior team.

That said, that "other team" is from the school that gave us Powers & Fenves, so I LOVE THIS ******* WIN!

There is a difference between recruiting 3-Stars and coaching them up to Group of 5 competition and recruiting 3-Stars and coaching them up to Power of 5 competition. TCU now has cycled out all pre-Big XII recruits who excelled in the MWC. Even a coached-up (which Patterson excelled at in the MWC) 3-Star team cannot maintain high standards in the Big XII. Patterson is going to have to find some 4-Stars to go with the 3-Star West Texas beef that goes to TCU because they do not want to go to Tceh.

So why did Robinson transfer to MO where he will probably sit behind the Clemson transfer? I think he got some bad advice.

Coming out of high school I thought this kid had all it took to be a superstar but he did not seem to develop during his time at TCU. Supposedly he told Cumbie about the decision and never talked it over with Patterson. This is not good for TCU or Patterson, or Cumbie. I am not high on Cumbie and Patterson is a defensive mind. What am I missing?

The RB for TCU was impressive and the D is excellent, but wow that was uggggly.
