cable splicing

so we finally got Time Warner to install our cable in our apartment today. We only have one jack for a 2 bedroom apt., it is in the main room. TW told us at least twice that they would splice it back to the two bedrooms.

However, the old bag comes out today and totally denies us. She only does cable and cable internet in the main room <thank goodness for the wireless router>.

Now we have the dilemma of how to get cable to our bedrooms. We dont really wann drill through a closet. Another problem is the chance of the signal for the Tv's or 'net being messed up/slowed after so much splicing. Running long co-ax cables thru the apt is not a big deal to us. Any suggestions would be nice.

How long do you think you would have to run the cable to get it done? It's not that big of a deal to do, and you can get all of the necessary stuff from Home Depot or Lowe's for not very much $$$. You also might try looking in the AAS or even a Greensheet for someone that would come out and do it for you freelance that wouldn't charge you very much. I will check and see if I can find anyone to help you.
