Cable, phone choices???

okay, so I was the smart guy who chose AT & T Uverse, I'm located north of the Metroplex, in McKinney. I actually like Uverse, good quality of reception, good choices in watching TV. beats the heck out of a dish, anytime it even rained just a regular shower the dish would go out.

Price.....I can barely keep up with all of this. We're paying $158 a month for internet, cable, and a landline.

Now for the other carnage, the cell phone bill, 4 cell phones, two of which the contract actually expired in August 2009, I just found out.
Monthly charge approx. $150.
The other two phones contracts are up in august of this year.
We're spending almost as much in one month on this garbage as we did for our entire utilities when we first moved into this house in '04.

We had a $180 electric bill, $65 phone bill, one cell phone for the wife at approx. $35 and a $50 water bill.

I think I've got the outrageous electric bills under control, but this other stuff is crazy.

So what are some decent options? I don't mind dumping my cell phone, I don't use it much, I guess I would need a prepaid phone to satisfy my wife. I wish I could have a pager, I guess you can't get those things.

the two people who use the cell phones are my wife and our younger son, who is 12. the older son doesn't care anything about it.

Dump the landline. If you have a 3rd or 4th uverse receiver, and are being charged for that, then dump those. Maybe try to downgrade your internet speed, if possible. Other than that, the only way to save money is to make sacrifices.

You should be able to bundle all that crap together and get 10-15% off, but getting that done correctly might be a pita
