--why is Dodds getting a pass onthis? Yes, the fight is between the carriers and ESPN, but UT signed the contract and agreed to allow the first game to go on LHN with no assurance anyone would carry it. UT gets paid either way. In other words, UT/Dodds placed the risk on the fans.

Hate to say this but I think one of the reasons that we had a full house for Rice is that it was not on TV.

I think you are right, about the attendance at the game. I got the sneaky suspicion that it was part of the reason the pressure was not on to get carriage right away. I bet it will be a bit different when it is time for the OSU game.

I haven't seen it mentioned here elsewhere, but tonight's game is also being carried live on ESPN 3D. It'll be the Horns 3D debut on that channel for those that have it available.
