Here's to honor. If you can't get honor. Trip her. Then get honor.
You see what I did there?

They want him on that court, they NEED him on that court. They wanted the truth and they couldn't handle the truth.

While I don't agree with BYU or the LDS church's narrow definition of "honor," I applaud and admire their resolve in enforcing it.

This could very well sink the Cougars' season, but it's obviously not all about wins and losses for them and I respect that.

The rumor is that she is pregnant, thereby forcing the issue. In such a situation, BYU has no choice. If it does nothing, the code is meaningless.

I just wonder, where is the honor in discussing this young man's private life in the media?. The school could have just left it at "violated the honor code" without giving the intimate details of his life.

I am always amazed that Jim McMahon went to BYU.

Had an article on DeadSpin about how McMahon made it through at BYU. Apologies i don't know how to post it here but Jim mainly said everyone is screwing around there are just those that get caught and those that don't. Administrators as well as students.

Dead Spin McMahon

I believe this is the dead spin article.

I don't think we have any room to talk. We allow drunk drivers back on the team after missing a few games. I commend BYU for trying to instill values.
