Since the recruitment of Darrell Scott has captivated us all, I figured to give up to the minute weather reports in Austin and Boulder. Darrell's recruitment is like no other I have seen in quite some time

UT is the correct choice, but don't kid yourself on the weather. Practice in August? Misery. Practice and games in September? We're not talking Chicago here. Denver/Boulder probably get more days of sunshine per year than Austin. But again, with JC out of the picutre UT is absolutely the correct choice for DS, imo.
 
I prefer 69F with the same wind chill to 25F with a wind chill of 9 and 28 MPH winds. That's apparently the current breakdown.
 
I'd take the weather in Boulder over ours in Austin any time. When it's cold out, all you gotta do is put on some more clothes. When it's August here, there ain't any clothes that'll make you comfortable.
 
Did any of you go to last Horn game in Boulder? Football conditions don’t get any better…beautiful October day…crystal blue skies…mountain backdrop…perfect temp…in the sun you’re totally comfortable in a long sleeve shirt…in the shade you need a light jacket…crisp fall air…oh man. Now compare that to the sweat-fest that is Austin. There are countless reasons to choose UT over CU, but weather and geography are not on that list.
 
By the way, that weather report is crap. I'm in Boulder right now and it doesn't feel like 15 degrees. I've been out making calls all day and I'm not even wearing a coat. Not saying it's warm, just saying it's not freezing out there. Still, I'm hoping for the worst blizzard in 50 years to discourage Scott from joining us here. Hook em.
 
Is the sky in Boulder still that funky color from the pollution? Really, I remember it from 20 years ago as a rather ugly color.

SNOW!! Yes, we got a few inches of snow in the Denver/Boulder area last night!

And yes, the weather is absolutely horrible here. You should discourage anyone you know from ever moving here. (At least, that's what we tell everyone to keep the slopes from crowding.)
 
Due to our lack of snow and slopes, the UT Ski team has had zero 5 star recruits in the last 100 years of non-existance. Bode Miller shunned UT after an initial commit and then texted Peekabo Street "Nagano Holla!"

Guys, they don’t play college football in February. You ski in Feb. Skiing is a good thing.

Practice in August/September in Boulder is not life threatening. It is in Austin.

We're better, but it ain't because of the weather.
