Buying a TV online

Friend of mine wants to buy a 32" TV. She doesn't need anything fancy so I was thinking I could point her to a website that would sell her a Panasonic or JVC on the cheap.

Any suggestions?

I am thinking I might try to talk her into a 32" WEGA HD

onecall.com has great prices but beware that if you have to send back a defective item, they don't cover the shipping charges. I got screwed when I purchased a A/V Receiver from them once.

houston?

no, they dont have those here

90% chance she buys from Tweeter, but i was just fishing

i bought a Panasonic 42 Inch Plasma EDTV to hang over the fireplace from BestDigitalOnline.com (TH-42PD25U/P)

i was skeptical that it would actually show up and i was pretty sure i'd call back and the phone would be disconnected, but i didn't have any problem.

tv showed up. i'm happy. it was also like a grand cheaper than i found at best buy or circuit city.

also would recommend ED vs. HD - there's essentially no picture difference compared to the difference in price.
