Mother in law is buying a new car. There was a suggested service or method that was repeatedly posted on here about a method to do it. Anyone remember what it was?
I think the strategy is to email or fax the fleet manager, or internet sales manager. Tell them what you want, and ask them what they have and their best price. Let them know you are soliciting to several dealerships. Contact dealerships in nearby cities as well. (I bought from a dealer in SA)
The fleet manager normally won't jerk you around, they are not salesman, they will quote you a price with a take it or leave it offer.
Also be aware of any factory rebates or discounts. Let the dealers know that you know about them, so they can factor it into their quote.
