Who do you want to win? I'm sure Duke will be a serious favorite, I would guess by 6 or more points.

think anybody had Butler in their final game bracket??

Nothing wrong with this question!!!!

I will be pulling for Butler....can't stand Duke or their coach.

Butler in sweet 16, elite 8, final 4, or championship game.??....unlikely!!! A cinderella story.

I have a feeling Duke wipes the floor with Butler. I'm not pulling for Duke, of course, but Butler didn't play well tonight.

Any doubts were wiped away when I heard the Duke fans chanting "next up Butler" while the WVA kid was on the floor writhing in pain from a messed up knee.

I love the way Butler plays defense. They also understand that basketball for the most part is decided under the rim, not above it.

I didn't get to watch alot of the games today and was wondering if Coach Wooden was there? He is 99, but Final Four's were very special to him. He was at every Final Four from 1939-1986. His beloved wife Nell was terminally ill and she apparently told her Dr she wasnt going to die until after the middle of April. They saw Georgetown beat Houston, and she died a few weeks later. After that Coach would go to the Final Four festivities and then leave on Friday before the games. In 1995 he finally came back and stayed when UCLA upset Arkansas and I think he has been at all of them, save for the year he was in the hospital when Florida beat UCLA like a drum. Was just wondering if he was there and if they showed him.

Basketball Royalty.

I would love to see Butler win, but I believe it really depends on Duke. If they play like they did against West Virginia it won't matter what Butler does.

orangecat: Yes. Some girl in my bracket pool had Butler winning the whole thing. I could not believe it at the time. I still can't believe it. She has already won our game.

The Butler did it.

Amen.
That, plus I hate Dook.
And lastly. I am married to a Tar Heel !

Howard not practicing, will be a game time decision.

The Link

Duke already has a huge size advantage. Now we are possibly facing a game in which Butler doesn't have its center.

Duke wins easily. Too much firepower. Cinderella goes home without finding the glass slipper.
Unless the three-pointers won't fall for Duke-seems like so many of these games depend on that one factor. If it is an ugly inside wrestling match, Butler could have a shot.

I'm rooting for Duke. I spent about half of my childhood in North Carolina, and I became a Duke fan when they were the Buffalo Bills of the NCAA and reached several Final Fours without winning the title. Even as a Texas graduate and a confirmed Longhorn fanatic I still root for Duke (except for the rare occasions when they play Texas, of course).

I think Butler can win this game. They are obviously a tough team as Izzo atttested to in the postgame. "We will never, never, never, never, never, ever be outtoughed in a game again." Butler can attack from four different spots on the floor. Butler is a decent shooting team and they will have to shoot better than they did vs. Michigan State. I don't think Duke defends as well on the perimeter as Michigan State.
Butler is an excellent defensive team and they did a good job on Saturday rebounding against a "tough" rebounding team.

For instructing a senior scrub to play rugby with Chris Paul to try to goad him into an ejection at the start of a game and for saying it was Hansbrough's nose's fault for being broken by Gerald Henderson, Coach Shuh deserves to fail in every turn at coaching, and I'm a forgiving man.
