Burying Rap Music

It has been clear for awhile now that rap is pretty much dead. Yeah there are some guys who have been around a long time who are still doing good things, and there are a few young dudes who can flow, but for the most part, it's dead.

But there are some "artists" who are so bad that their "music" can only be explained as being produced out of a desire to do as much damage as possible to hip hop. I'm not talking about 50 Cent or Lil Wayne or people like that who are bad. I'm talking about rappers whose objective must be to bury rap once and for all. Who am I talking about?

Soulja Boy
T Pain
Rich Boy
Gucci Mane
Flo Rida
Lil Jon
Pitbull
Akon
Ron Browz
Lil Webbie
David Banner
Jim Jones
Young Jeezy
Young Joc
Dem Franchise Boys

I know there are others. Who am I leaving off the list?

Can't say I know one from the other but I fear if they bury rap it would just come back as Zombie Rap or something even worse.

I don't think T-Pain is bad though. The problem is that everyone wants to jock his style now and the airwaves have become saturated with that autotune effect he uses. I like his stuff though. I don't care for a lot of mainstream rap though. I stick with the Texas scene for rap, but I do like Mac Dre and The Game. FWIW, I can't stand any of the new rock music either. I'd rather listen to AIC and all that stuff the buzz used to play back in the day.
