Bulk trash week

Bulk trash week in my neighborhood starts today. There are a bunch of Sanford & Son trucks roaming around. Two guys just stopped in front of my house, spent 20 minutes dismantling a 15 year old p.o.s. rusted gas grill I set out, took the upper section (where you cook in) and left the frame.

wtf?

Happens all the time in our neighborhood.

Doesn't bother me - if someone else can use it, good for them, and itsaves the city resources picking it up and disposing of it (theoretically lowering taxes)

ElGuapo,

You must live in Barrington/North Oaks area.

I've been seeing those guys in the neighborhood all day and being stuck behind them while they troll the streets.

It doesn't bother me that they're picking up my garbage, I just don't understand why they took apart a rusty gas grill and then just took the top piece.

These guys had a literal junk tower going in the bed of the truck before they even got to me. They had to roll-start the truck when they left. More power to 'em if it helps 'em out but seriously, what do these people do with all this crap?

Some people just like to collect junk. We had a guy in our town who collected all sorts of **** and put it in his yard. His yard was completely full of all the junk he collected. He even kept some of it at the school behind the ag barn.

They take the grill main housings because they are aluminum. Can prices are over $.65. Looks like old washer and dryers and lawn mowers are profitable for these guys because you see them loaded up with them too.

It has gotten to where I can just drag an old table, chair or whatever to the front yard and put a sign "Take Me" on it and within a couple of hours, it's gone. No need to even post on Craigslist or wait for bulk week.

I always have stuff for those two times of the year anyways but not as much.
