Buffalo Ribeye

I bought a Buffalo Ribeye at HEB on Saturday and grilled it up Saturday night. I used Tom Perini's steak dry rub and cooked it medium rare. But I was unimpressed with the flavor. Pretty bland. I likely needed to add more seasoning considering how little flavor it had. Anyone try one? It was like $15 per pound so I was hoping for more. Looked great though.
 
Buffalo is extra lean. Its appeal is not flavor, but the low fat content.

It will never be as good as nicely marbled beef,(at least to me).


I'll pass.
