He just threw a pick 6 because his dumbass receiver ran the wrong route, resulting in two WRs in the same area with three DBs. WR runs the correct route, it may not have gotten the first down, but damn close.

The pass was supposed to be a timing slant to slot WR on right side. Both right side WRs ran a drag underneath, leaving a giftwrapped football right in the gut of DB. It was so blatantly obvious that even the announcers called it.

It will go on stat sheet as a pick 6 against Buechele, but if the WR runs the correct route, KC probably has a first down. Unfortunately, there is no stat column for WR stupidity, or else we would have had some national record holders in Austin in the last decade plus.

We all wish him the best. What I saw in the video was good protection, open receivers, and going to the initial target. Pitch & catch.

The test will be to see how he does under pressure, and can he successfully find and connect with his second or third options.
