Budweiser Ale

tried it this week. Both my husband and I really liked it. He si a beer snob and usually drinks IPA's, Sierra Nevada, etc.

The Belgium influence is finally showing itself!!

I have seen the ads, and I might go buy some this week. Guy across the street has a son that works for Bud, so I will see if I can get him to buy some to try one without having to buy it. I will say that on tv it actually looks like beer instead of yellow water.

I just don't think I could ever bring myself to buying a Budweiser branded product.

Now, Annheiser Busch also owns Redhook which is a damn fine beer. AB purchased the product though. I don't think they can create anything decent from scratch.

I went to the store to get some beer yesterday and had made up my mind to grab a 6 of this new American Ale and try it. The store didn't have it. They had not yet recieved a shipment. I believe this might be an omen that I have no business trying it.

Some people believe that "everything happens for a reason".

I think those people are ******* idiots. I hope you don't fall into this category.

Nap,
No, it was very tongue in cheek. It is after all just beer. I mean it isn't going to be life altering whether I ever taste Bud American Ale, or if I hate it or fall in love with it.

Like Seattle Husker said, it is pretty difficult for me to even purchse a Budweiser product, but I was intreaged by the potential....let's just say I am let down. I am not impressed, this American Ale lacks flavor, it's just boring. It is alomost flat and no body at all. I can't believe I purchased a whole six pack....should have just got a single to try. Now I remember why I never buy Budweiser product.
