COLLEGE STATION - Former Texas A&M quarterback and Houston Oilers player John "Bucky" Richardson has been arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Brazos County records show he was arrested by College Station Police and booked into jail just after 9 a.m. Sunday.
According to a police report, Richardson was seen swerving on University Drive, not maintaining a single lane. The arresting officer says Richardson failed a number of elements and admitted he'd had three beers at a local restaurant that night before driving.
Richardson played for the Aggies the early 1990's - going on to play for the Houston Oilers, Dallas Cowboys, and Kansas City Chiefs. County records show he has bonded out of jail.
