BU Game

Gary Johnson's inability to make a free throw just kills us. He works hard to get the ball, but how can a 22 year old forward not be able to make a free throw? I get so tired of seeing guys not be able to make the freebies.
 
Hamilton goes for a steal attempt that has no chance, leading to an easy basket. And the beat goes on, da da dum da dum da da.
 
I hate this team. Practice free throws in high school you idiots. Practice them ever day. What a bunch of friggin idiots to miss the front end of 2 one and ones and now trail at half. 3-8 from the line with 2 left on the court. Most 12 year olds can do better then that.

Year after year after year we bring in supposed hot shots and most can't make a damn free throw. Johnson has no excuse. You're a damn senior. Act like a leader and learn the fundamentals of the game.
 
Barnes looks lost. No offensive scheme and Baylor is playing great D. I hate to say it but I just don't think we will see anything better out of a Barnes team than we did in 2002.
 
Screw the FTs... our guards are 2-11 from the floor. This could be the worst shooting I've seen in a half.

Barnes should hire Greg Davis to improve on the offensive end.
 
That was a very ugly first half. Texas 0 of 7 from 3 point line and the Wrong dudes are shooting them. Not sure this Texas team can win another game this year? Not the way they are shooting and playing.
 
FTs are not this team's primary issue. Anemic O is. This team has regressed - big-time. Barnes simply cannot coach O.
 
Not sure about that? 2 weeks ago people thought Texas was the Best team in the Country? Now Barnes cannot coach offense?
 
The middle portion of this season was the first time that we haven't had TJ Ford or DJ Augustin running PG where it looked like Texas had anything resembling an offensive scheme. So no, it's not just that now all of sudden we're changing our tune on Barnes' offense.
 
Teams either get better or worse as the season goes on. We peaked in January.

North Carolina whom we beat in Dec. when they were down has won 11 of their last 12 and can lock down ACC Tourney #1 seed with win over Duke, whom they're leading.

Unfortunately, as we all know, Barnes teams seem to start out strong and fade. Can't imagine what can cause that consistently.
 
Texas has 2 shooters on this team. Brown and Hamilton and the last few games they cannot hit the broad side of a barn. Tonight they are 1 for 10. Earlier in the year they were carrying Texas with their shooting. Now all they have is Thompson underneath and nothing from the outside. You cannot beat anyone, Hamilton and Brown must find their shots.
 
When we were winning Johnson was hitting that 17 footer from the wing and that actually gave us 3 shooters. Joseph was making a few as well. Now no one can make anything.

And once again we start the half getting totally dominated. We're looking at a 4-5 seed and 2nd round exit.
 
If I were a Baylor fan I would be bitching to high heaven over the bias given to the Horns in that last series where Gary had the ball knocked out. He was brutally fouled and they did not call it. Instead they let us inbound the ball and Jordan makes the bucket. How dare the ref's not put us at the line and cheat by letting us inbound the ball?!
