He was impressive in the all star game. Moved up to #1 on most lists and is undecided still. Texas should make a list minute hail mary for this guy.

That was the word but apparently he has waffled a bit since they have changed OC. He might be a flake, might just like making headlines or may have legitimate concerns. His talent makes it worth making him an offer and finding out.

I have a Miami friend who told me Bryce meet the new OC yesterday and everything went well. Whatever that means. Signing day decision.

His bro went to Miami, and he's liked them a long time too...Brown winds up in Coral Gables Tuesday. You don't get in on recruiting a difference-maker this late in the game.

If I hear a guy is having second thoughts with that much talent I am calling him up and trying if nothing else.

I would think Texas would stay away from anyone with an "adviser" that goes on every trip and you have to go through him to get to the player.

it was the same way with Arthur last year. now, it very well may be on the up and up, that's a possibility, but it's something some schools would want to not really have to deal with, just in case

Damn, I'm behind times. I didn't realize that advisor = agent.

I just looked it up on dictionary.com

Still hasn't signed with Miami. USC sounds like they are becoming a stronger candidate and even Oregon is in the mix. Come on Mack make a call and stir it up.

His "Advisor" is now exploring hiim going straight to the CFL, if they'll offer enough money.

Translation: "Randy, up the offer and back up Brinks or we're going somewhere else." This played out in Austin in the early 80s when a couple of "advisors" told our concensus AA DL that they would take care of things. They quickly played the same card and he fell from 1st round to 5th round to not making the team. If this kid doesn't shitcan this loser quick, he'll be playing at four colleges in five years and everyone will be asking, "What ever happened to that RB from Kansas a few years ago?"

Can you say "George Smith" or "Bill Jones" or "Ben Gay" or "Willis Mackey", boys and girls?

The NFL is waiting but so is the Sears Appliance Delivery Service

I hope our stance is that any player with an "advisor" like that will never spend time at UT, even if the player wants badly to commit to the good guys. We don't need that kind of headache.
