They should of canned him after 1 game.
The guy made good matchups almost unwatchable.
He makes for a good interviewer but a horribly boring play by play guy.
 
Best thing they could have done to maybe increase their viewership by improving their broadcasts. I just wonder who they are going to get to replace him. Chris Collinsworth is aight, but not my first choice. I think Marshall Faulk has done quite well in his spot duty.
 
Good to hear - sometimes I don't think networks have any idea of what constitutes "good" sports play-by-play and analysis.

Not a reflection on BG's ability as a broadcaster, he does a lot of things very well, but play-by-play was definitely not one of them.

He is the ultimate D-Bag. I have always hated everything he does, especially with his own show. I find the guy full of himself (and I can not stand his voice, either.....very annoying to my ears).
 
Tom Hammond did an excellent job filling in on short notice last year for the Texans game on NFL network. He should be the choice. I read that Marv Albert wants a chance, also.
 
They should take a look at Denny Green - he's been great at radio. Maybe that won't translate to the TV booth well, but it's worth a look at least.
