aTm leads Grambling 8-0 in the 7th. No surprises there.

Fastball in the upper 80s.
Good curveball that he throws a lot.
Good change up, his money pitch.

"Andrew Herrmann is a 2021 LHP with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Kennesaw, GA who attends Campbell High School. Extra-large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, plenty of room to fill throughout moving forward with added strength. Lefthanded pitcher, big drop step moving into delivery, gets tall on backside with a high leg lift up past belt; long and full arm action through the back working to a high three-quarters release point, generates some deception at release. Fastball ... good life to the pitch through the zone when on top of the ball. Pitched heavily off of curveball and showed comfort with landing the pitch for strikes; can vary velocity and shape to the pitch, 1-7 with depth to miss bats at harder velocity and a 12-6 shape with more depth for early in the count. Also flashed a changeup..."

He comes from Kennesaw, Georgia, a place of a bloody battle where Generals Joe Johnston, Cleburne, and Cheatham's men slaughtered an un-wise, uphill, and nearly suicidal Union charge into an entrenched position ordered by General Sherman. (Hood was taking notes and learning from Sherman's tactics that day...)

Fastball up to the low 90s.

Good control over his breaking pitches. Wasn't recruited heavily out of high school, but has developed into a good college pitcher.

“He’s effectively wild a little bit with his fastball which that will knock a hitter off his mark because he keeps coming back in the counts,” Louisiana head coach Matt Deggs said. “He was able to land a breaking ball and a change-up anytime he wants.

Good pitching stamina/longevity. The U of L coach has kept him in the game before reaching well over 100 pitches.

Fastball up to the mid 90s, sits in the low 90s.
Louis-Philippe brings a good slurve and change-up to the mound.
His breaking stuff really breaks.
A strikeout pitcher.
Low delivery.

Check out this low/near sidearm delivery:

from Quebec City, Quebec. So this guy's not a Louisiana "Cajun", he's an actual Acadian (from which the word "Cajun" originates)... Pitched at Wabash Valley Junior College.

Has a bit of a wild streak and a propensity to throw bean balls. Not a strikeout pitcher, makes batters put it in play.

5 pm CT.

Q: if it's on any of the ESPN channels, it's automatically on ESPN+, right?

I didn't think so but could easily be wrong. I've never had ESPN+ but thought that was the major complaint - it didn't automatically have all TV ESPN content.

Close play. Third baseman guns Gaspo down before he reaches first. To the bottom of the 2nd

0-0

Ump is giving Grubbs the inside thus far.

Bottom of 2nd

Ground out to D Kennedy. (No Jack O’Dowd today.)
