Brown says he didn't tweet

Yeeeeeah, I don't buy that. I followed that twitter account for a while, and it was pretty obvious that was Brown tweeting.

But hopefully it's all in the past. A few days later he said that Gary Johnson was the best player on the team, so no wonder Johnson accepted the apology lol.

I liked what everyone--Brown, Johnson and Barnes--had to say in that article. Even if Cove did post those tweets, it sounds like he's learned a lesson and that the team is too tight to let something like this undermine it.

I don't know him either and I don't consider this to be a big deal, but that explanation does seem somewhat dubious.

Just knowing that someone else is posting under his name and allowing it, brings his common sense into question. I certainly wouldn't want someone pretending to be me and saying whatever. Of course I exist in relative obscurity, so I doubt anyone would notice.

Well a couple of days after the tweet, brown did tweet again that he was joking and was commenting more on how badly he shot than anything else. Plus he appologized in the tweet. I think its all good, I just don't personally believe the story about it being from his cousin.

I like brown, though. He should be firmly in the race for 6th man of the year.

This is an opportunity for J'co to step up and grow and learn from this. He has a giant talent ready to break out. A little more maturity and this kid will help take this team to the promised land.

Learning to maintain grace and poise under adverse circumstances is not easy. I hope this helps him get on down the road with his development.

That was a very interesting comment Gary Johnson made. I'm taking it serously. He knows plenty that we don't. J'co is the most talented 6th man I've seen on a Texas team. When he's on, he is unstoppable. Note the Kansas game.

He could start for many, many teams. Keep cool, J'co. Keep growing.
