Brown, Balbay, Lucas or Ward

Just thinking about the season makes me helluh giddy. First time in a long time that I've been more pumped for the basketball team than the football team, and I'm freakin' pumped for the football team.

Not that it really makes any difference, but why would Brown's first game be against Pittsburgh. There are several games before that, and he's too talented to keep of the floor.

It's also a good game to schedule in regards to recruiting and establishing a presence in the east. We've got players coming from everywhere and we're cherry picking by the bushels.

It seems everybody is forgetting about Mason. Where will he fit in? With James and Hamilton at the 3, I doubt he will get much PT there. I'm guessing he is the #2 shooting guard ahead of Ward. It is also possible though that he could get significant PT at the point.

I like thinking of Bradley and Mason at the 1/2.

I don't know that Mason is going to play much this year. You may recall, Chris Ogden was POY in Texas when Barnes recruited him, and his senior year, he hardly played.

Mason will play that Craig Winder role off the bench. Bring him in when you need some energy.
He's just not that skilled.

When we go small, you could put Mason on the court with four guys that can shoot the **** out of the ball. I doubt we will see much of Mason playing with Ward, Balbay, or anyone else that can't shoot. I don't know about y'all, but I pretty much got my fill of that last year.
