Is the nectar of the gods. The name isn't bad either............Thelonius Monk, Jazz pianist................Abby Ale, Made by monks......Get it??

It's made by Northern coast Brewing and all their brews are far and away the best american representations of the belgian beer experience.

Holly crap. We get it here in oklahoma so i just assumed it was all the rage in the civilized world.

In texas I'd be surprised if it wasnt available in the liquor stores as apposed to the grocery store because of the weird bottle. (0.750L)

It's about $8 a bottle at Whole Foods in Austin, and worth every bit. They also have it on tap (half pints) at Gingerman.

I used to live up near where it's made in Norcal. Absolutely in the most remote part of the California Coast possible, so I'm glad to see it make it out of there. The brewery up there is fantastic. The Red Seal Ale and Old Rasputin are good as well.
