Haven't liked them in quite a while, but when I was in high school, I thought their first few albums were as good as anything in Nashville.

My single life - early 90s in the DFW area - you could not go in a C&W club without hearing Boot Scootin' Boogie and a bunch of people line dancing to that song.

Also the Brooks and Dunn Flame shirt was big

Boot Scottin Boogie was almost single-handedly responsible for the line dance...possibly the most embarrassing dance white people have ever done.

Boot-Scootin' Boogie revived the line dance. It did not create it.

I did line dances in the 70s to tunes like Hollywood Swinger. Anyone remember The Hustle????
