broadband phone service

Has anyone tried Lingo or one of the other companies selling phone service over broadband internet connections?

I know several guys at work that use Vonage and are pleased with it. You can even check your voice mail over the internet.

Tiger has been using Lingo for a month now and has been pleased so far. I am planning on taking it with on my next trip to SE Asia to see if I can use it over there from my hotel....
