Hilarious movie. I'm surprised there's not a thread on this. Whither Fast Fred?

The title suggests another cornball, cliche wedding movie but it is anything but. I, my girlfriend and the whole audience laughed a lot.

Agreed 100%- you can get credit for seeing a "chick flick" with the wife/gf and yet still get Hangover-like laughs.

I love Kristin Wiig- she gets a rise..

Maybe I went in with too high expectations, but I didn't find it slap-your-knee hilarious in too many scenes. I liked the movie and thought it was a nice story, but I didn't laugh as much as I thought I would. There were some funny parts, no doubt. Again, maybe expectiations were too high.

I was thinking we could get all the guys together and watch this at my house. We could drink daiquiris, maybe do some pedicures and scrapbooking.

While reluctant to admit it, saw Bridesmaids last night with the wife and found it to be very funny. Lots of guy humor in a girl cast movie. Compared to Hangover 2 I'd take Bridesmaids all day.

I know you're mostly kidding, but why be reluctant to admit it? This isn't a guilty pleasure. It's a really funny movie.

I thought the movie started out well (Kristin Wiig doing the impression of the penis was the best part of the movie) and then dragged on after they got kicked off the plane to Vegas. They needed more funny behind-the-scenes girl time stuff.
