From the reports we've seen, it appears that the Rangers had no choice except to send Ponson packing. You cannot afford to lose the rest of the team in the locker room over one guy. And it is a shame - he can pitch, and was doing reasonably well for a team that is starved for starters who can chew up innings.

i heard ponson got in a fist fight with young but the rangers are making up some weight lifting excuse.... wonder what really happened. ponson fights young, hurts youngs hand, we have to bench young when we're facing a left handed pitcher and he has a 21 game hit streak.... it actually makes sense. die ponson. die.

Wow....went after Young? That's a bad idea. Makes you wonder if that is why he didn't play today due to a "groin" injury.

Josh & TAG have been ripping Ponson a new one every chance they get on the air. Of course, I know they are homers and support the Rangers at every turn, almost to annoyance (especially this season).
