Breaking News Alerts

Anyone using a text alert service of customizable breaking news? All the mainstream media alert services either seem to want to call any/all of their new headlines as breaking news. I want a service I can customize to limit the alerts to two or three times a year. For example i want a text telling me bin Ladin is dead, but I don't need a text telling me that Bill 657 has been killed in sub-committee.

I don't know an answer to your question but I find it interesting that ESPN felt it important to let me know on my Sports Breaking News that Bin Laden was killed
