Last time I watched it I identified with the kids. Today I watched it as a father.

Anyways, I thought it noteworthy that the antagonist, the rich kid is played by Hart Bochner, the slimeball from Die Hard who tries to negotiate and gets a bullet for his efforts.

Terrific movie for the ages.

Paul Dooley (the father) and Dennis Christopher starred in a Law and Order together.
I kept wanting to shout, "REFUND!!!!" while watching it.

Terrific little film. Bochner's character's car has Texas plates, if I recall correctly.
