Devastating injury. Apparently it could have lead to an amputation if the medical staff hadn't acted quickly. I really hope he has a full recovery.

(It's very odd feeling sympathy for an Arsenal player, but this one was so bad it goes beyond the rivalry.)

Yeah it was really bad. They say he is going to be walking in a cast for a while (6 months)

Should hopefully recover.

Was it a compound tib/fib fracture? If so, that ain't good. That's the Tyrone Prothro injury.

He's already out of the hospital and the prognosis is he will be back by the end of the year. Somehow, I don't see it. Abou Diaby suffered a less serious fracture from a similar tackle in 2006 and is just making it back this season. Ugly injury to Eduardo. I do hope he makes it back.
