Brady can still throw a beautiful spiral. His first drive ends in a field goal only because the tight end dropped a pass right in his bread basket. . . . Foles way overthrows a wide open receiver on a short toss on third and two. Bears have to punt. That was a terrible miss. After Chicago holds and regains possession, Foles tries a back door pass that the defender was ready for, intercepted, and ran back 30 plus yards. Brady starts in good field position. Good pass from Brady, but then he drops a snap, and then throws low to the receiver on the next play after that. The pass is called incomplete, but it's being challenged. Overturned. Third and goal at the two. Brady tosses short TD pass. 10-0. Chicago gets a good kickoff return from almost the back of the end zone to the 38, and then get a first down at around midfield as the first quarter ends. Foles badly misses another wide open receiver on a long throw to start the second quarter. Third down pass is incomplete. Brady gets the ball again--this time starting inside his own 10. Brady sneaks it on fourth and short at 20 yard line in his own territory. Drive stays alive. Good drive . . . but ends with two incomplete passes and a field goal. 13-0. Bears offense finally wakes up. Good drive. First and goal inside the five at the two minute warning. TD Bears on a short rush up the middle. 13-7, but Bears left Brady almost a minute and fifty seconds before the half. Plenty of time for him, but he throws three straight incompletions (the last ball was knocked out on a hard hit by the defensive back). . . . ooh, booth review determines he caught it before it was knocked out. Recovery by Bears deep in Bucs territory. Pass complete down to Bucs' 20. Pass complete to the 12 on third and three. First down for Bears. One handed catch by Jimmy Graham in the end zone. Bears lead 14-13. Football is a crazy game, isn't it. Bucs dominated all but the final five minutes of the first half. Halftime.
