A 5-foot-11-inch guard, Sanders had surgery this past summer to repair a bone in her right foot that was fractured during her junior season. Her recovery has been slow, and her playing time has been diminished.

This is a great article. Gave a tad more insight as to what all is going on. She has always been my favorite player and I'm sure it's not pleasant to play hurt. She has so much passion for this game and is one class act. To be there for your team still after going what I think is not only the two surgeries spoken of (It's more like 6), is the epitome of the type of player every team should have. No crying over diminished playing time or not starting and not selfish whatsoever and still yells louder than anyone when not playing. Didn't know that about her boyfriend (Lakers) but more power to him. These two Longhorns are making us proud! I wish her well and glad to read the article giving more insight as to what is going on. I miss her on the floor.
