Wow, that sucks. But they have been pretty lucky regarding injuries. At first when I heard he was injured I was overly bummed thinking he was my fantasy qb. Then I remembered I have Peyton, not Tom.
Geez, I don't mean to sound insensitive but by watching ESPN you'd think the guy went to the happy hunting ground. Chirs Berman just referred to him as "the fallen".
I am a Pats hater. Not sure why, maybe Bellichick.
But I have always liked Brady. This sucks. I was pumped when they lost the Super Bowl but I don't want to see them lose it this year (if so) this way. Wow.
The Pats are one my least favorite teams and Chris is one of my all time favorite Horns. I want the guy to have a job so I guess I could learn to live with him on the Pats. He would be handed a much better team/coach/situation in Boston than what he had in Tampa. I guess it wouldn't suck throwing to Randy Moss and Wes Welker!
The Colts looked like **** last night. So I'm wondering what team is the front runner in the AFC now. Denver? Jets? Maybe the Chargers despite losing to a NFC team at home?
Nobody in the AFC looked particularly good this week. Indianapolis got killed by the Bears at home; the Chargers lost to the sixth-best team in the NFC at home; the Patriots are going to be without Brady and the Browns looked like **** against the Cowboys.
One wonders if the pendulum is swinging back to NFC superiority.
As for the Pats, I'm with the Boo Hoo crowd. Belichick is a first-class pr*** and a cheater to boot. Boston fans have become unbearable with success and need to be knocked down a few notches. Brady seemed like a nice enough dude and his "resume" rivals Scott Baio's for quality, but I'm not going to waste any tears on the dude. And since he was on my fantasy team last year and on my league's biggest ****-talker's this year, bonus.
Until he's listed as "out" by the Patriots, I'm not convinced he's done for the year. I don't trust those ******* and it is just like them to keep their mouths shut all week, whining about how they don't know his status, and then at game time, have him magically appear ready to start. I'm not saying this is likely, I'm just saying that those ******* cannot be trusted.
I'm not a Pats fan,but I still hate to see a guy go down like that. It looked kinda dirty to me, just like what happened to Palmer. The bengirls have not been the same since.
Not dirty at all. The guy got knocked to the ground and was just trying his best to make any kinda of tackle. He knew he didn't have time to get up and hit him so he just lunged. No way that was premedated. (sp)
However, with their oline and receivers I still think they win 11-12.
