Bradley apparently declaring for NBA . . .

He is gone.

He's gone. His facebook profile states that he is back home in Tacoma, meaning he isn't in school right now. Also, a source of mine made contact with J'Covan who confirmed it.

Can you trust everything you see on facebook? I mean people say they are in relationships with almost anyone.

Also, is J'Covan in a place to make comments? I am not sure what is dumber move is...Brown's responding to your "friend" or Bradley leaving.

I don't know who in the NBA needs an undersized, erratic shooting 2G with questionable ball handling skills and shoots free throws at around 50%.

I wish he weren't leaving, too, but he'll be a lot better by next year than what we already saw. I'll compare him again to Daniel Gibson, who makes a good paycheck in the league.

At least Gibson had the good sense to stay at least 2 years if I remember correctly.

I hope he doesn't leave. I think they can all improve, and if they had more time to gel, this year could definitely turn out to be the fluke I think a lot of us feel it was.

I don't mean to rag on him and I too hope he stays. I still believe he can be a big league player, but he needs work. I'm afraid he will end up in the abyss of the developmental league, or playing overseas if he leaves now. While he may eventually be a bigger impact player in the NBA than Gibson, he certainly isn't there now. I just don't see how he would be drafted, even in the 2nd round.

Well that's what Barnes is here for, right? To get these guys to realize/accomplish their dreams.

Good luck in the D League, Avery.

HAH. The one-and-done rule doesn't hurt college ball, just the egos of the guys who THINK they can go one-and-done.

If anything, we probably would be a better team WITH the one-and-done guys, not some god-awful collection of lazy, no-motion do-nothings.

If Barnes can't get anything out of an AAU high school guy, then Barnes probably isn't the problem.

He shot 38% on 3's this year. Not exactly broke. That was higher than Hamilton and Brown. And as just stated he came here with the knock that he was a poor 3 pt shooter. Does Barnes not get credit for that not being a weakness any longer? 38% is solid if nothing else.

Hmmm,
One year ago he was telling anybody that would listen that he would not be a one & done. I think it would be a horrible decision to not stick to that plan.

^^^ Poor examples of player development. Jason Klotz sticks out immediately. Royal Ivey is another one - the kid's father didn't even think he would play D-1 ball. He ended up in the Association.

Kenton Paulino was a continual work in progress. His development really reminded me of Justin Mason's - on the cusp of being really good, just didn't have the natural talent to break through.

And who could forget PJ Tucker. Man did he turn into a beast. And we pulled him straight out of ACC country.

You can fault Rick for a couple of things. I know it's popular on this board to fault him for a lack of offense (even though we had top-10 offensive production this year), or fault him for poor free throw percentage (though not much credit is ever given to him when we hit 80%), but player development is the last thing you should ever fault him for.
