I'm thinking about reading some of his books and was wondering if anyone here has any advice? I like Vince Flynn, Nelson Demille, James Patterson, etc. Thanks in advance.

Yes. You do not have to read them in order, but it kinda helps if you do. I really liked the first one - Lions of Lucerne. After that one I think Blowback might be my next favorite. His new book the Apostle just came out, and I am about 80% done with it. It is very solid. They are all entertaining, and good reads. There are a couple that come very close to being silly, but overall it is a great series. Not as good as Flynn IMO, but certainly one of the best out there right now.

I bought his latest, The Apostle, at his Houston book-signing last night. It is not mandatory that you read his books in order, but if you can I would recommend it. I think he is a more polished writer today than he was early, but I've enjoyed all of his books. If you like Vince Flynn (and Mitch Rapp), you'll like Brad Thor (and Scot Harvath).

Thanks very much. I love Vince Flynn with his Mitch Rapp character. Guess I'll be heading to Half Price Books to pick up some of Thor's earlier books. Have a good weekend.
