Brad Lidge

That's a pisser...not for Brad (good luck to ya') but for the Stros. When I was growing up, following the Stros in the early years right after they moved into the Dome, it seemed like anyone they traded away became an All-Star or at least a lot better player than they had been in Houston. The first of those was Joe Morgan. This brings back those memories.

I know...it sucks, but it's not like the team didn't give him plenty of chances to snap out of it.

He was dominating against the Rangers last week. Sux for the Astronauts.

Hook'em!!!

I am happy for Lidge! He was & is the most stand up guy you will ever root for. He did not back away from his struggles and answered the Pujols question everytime it was asked, even the 1 millionth.

The Astros are not really at fault for trading him because they gave him every chance they could, but it is not that big of a surprise to see him getting his old form back in a new environment.

Brad's days in Houston were doomed when Pujol's ball sailed over the left fierld wall in the playoffs and took Lidge's confidence with it. He needed a change of scenery and I'm glad he's done well.

If you ever met Brad you would know what kind of stand up guy he was. I knew his days in Houston were numbered, but I'm glad his career and new contract extension are taking off!!!
