Arkansas would never be put there. Lunardi made a mistake.
EDIT: Actually, it's possible, but it is so unlikely that it is stupid to put Arkie in Little Rock. Having UT play in Little Rock being booed by all the Hog fans and Memphis fans (assuming Memphis and UT are 1-2 in the Houston region) is enough.
Just because it's worth noting, Texas is projected as a #1 seed in three more brackets today: The Bracket Project, Mr. Bracket, and The Orlando Sentinel. If we can somehow get out of Manhattan on Monday still at 4 losses, this is going to become more and more common.
Of course, I think we would all prefer to be the #2 in Houston. It presents an interesting situation. We all might be "disappointed" with a #1 seed on Selection Sunday.
My overly hopeful scenario is for the 1 seeds to be Memphis, UNC, UCLA and Texas. It's possible. That way it would make sense to put Memphis in Detroit and Texas in Houston as UCLA would grab Phoenix and UNC (or Duke) would get Charlotte. One can hope...
Yep, that is the ideal scenario Kosher. Let's hope the committee is not married to the "Memphis is the #1 in Houston" idea as most of the projections appear to be. I would not be pleased to be the #1 out west with UCLA as our #2. Ask our Jayhawk friends about that.
