Bowlsby Punishes TCU's Orr

TCU and Baylor get into a brawl and both benches in their entirety get penalized because it was a TEAM brawl. Then Bowlsby reviews the tape and decides to suspend two Baylor players for the first half of their next game and Nick Orr, TCU's All Big XII second team safety and their leading tackler, for the first half of his next game. Baylor's next game is the opener in 2018 against Kansas and that of TCU just happens to be against OU for the Big XII championship.

I find it a bit unfair and wonder why he wants to give advantage to OU when they don't need same. It appears that the suspensions cannot be considered equal, especially if the Baylor players are not on the team next year, not to mention the relative importance of the two games. During their last meeting one of TCU's best defensive players was ejected because he was being held down by two OU players and started kicking while laying on the ground. Now they lose their safety.

Maybe Bowlsby should review the Baker incident of hitting a TCU player on the head with a football prior to the last meeting. Or, some of the other sh- - that he has pulled and take a little action. However that might hurt the chance for the Big XII to have a Heisman candidate and a MNC, the Sooners. (I sometimes wonder if he and Boren are in charge of this conference.) One thing for sure, he is not good for the Big XII and has the balls of a frog.

Bowelsby is a gutless wonder with no backbone and no balls. He at least understands that any changes, good or bad, in the Big XII go through Norman, and that is the only approval necessary.

Thanks. I was wondering if I was the only one that felt that way.

If you are allegedly "the boss", and one of your colonels is taking kickbacks from various vendors, but large kickbacks from one particular vendor, and pretty much everyone in college athletics knows it, what the hell are you doing to earn your money?

"I didn't get nuthin. How was I supposed to know?" - piss poor response from the guy supposedly in charge.

Good stuff, Chin.

Also, I expected him to review and reverse Hager's "targeting" call that was completing inexcusable by the officials. Okay, I didn't really expect Bowlow to do that, but he should have.
