Bowl winning streaks

Active and uninterrupted:
#1 Boston College (8) including no BCS wins
#2 Utah (5) including 1 BCS win
#3 Texas (4) including 2 BCS wins

Until I looked it up, I would not have suspected BC of that kind of postseason consistency. Utah's streak is pretty long and includes the Fiesta-- not too shabby.

Ready to start a win streak but stuck on 0 for now (not exhaustive):

Expect BC to play in some better bowls if they get good again. The ACC last year passed a rule that the bowls cannot pick over a team for a lower team in the standings if the difference is more than 1 game. Before that rule, BC would get picked over for NC State, etc. And before that, they were in the Big East, which has terrible bowl lineups.

Those are pretty sweet bowls for BC.
I equate BC to Tech. Solid programs that will always go to bowl but will not win the Natty.
