in a game no one wants to be in or at.
I have sat through too many- 1 is too many.Saw one projection today of us and Arky in the Texas Bowl. Besides being NYE, that really conflicts with my Hallmark Movie night. I hear there's a plot twist with the one they're showing that night, it doesn't start snowing when they kiss at the end.

1. The male lead love interest will have a 3 day scruffy beard. Always. Test me on that.
2. The girl is a successful city (works too much) strong career woman.
3. She has a boyfriend back in said city (always NYC or Chicago)who is also rich and career oriented. Not to worry she realizes that city boy is too into his career and they breakup.
4. She meets scruffy beard male interest - usually his wife passed a few years back, in a small storybook town where everyone knows everyone
5. At some point an elderly wise man shows up with advice on how love works and dispels this advice to girl from a park bench.
5. There will be a snowball fight, a car break down, a cute kid who takes to the girl shown in point 2 and a misunderstanding that breaks up boy/girl until girl realizes she’s in love and ALWAYS is getting on a bus when love wins out.
Roll credits.
God help me , I hate Hallmark.
My wife refuses to watch action based Military movies as I point out all the bs- grenades that are more like a 60mm mortars or troops being bunched up..I’m the same with Hallmark with her...
This is no ****... I literally just watched “Christmas Lodge” or some such one an hour before I wrote this... then found a good Marine Recon documentary on Amazon prime I streamed via this phone.Dude, you need an intervention... it is clear you have watched far too much Hallmark channel and The Notebook movie!
On another TV you need escape t and spend more time on AHC, History Channel, Smithsonian and LHN !
I think Hallmark is her way of getting back at me watching all those old R Lee Ermey's 'Mail Call' episodes.Dude, you need an intervention... it is clear you have watched far too much Hallmark channel and The Notebook movie for your own good!
Rx? You must escape to another TV and watch AHC, History Channel, Smithsonian, LHN, etc. !
Don’t worry. I’m pausing the voting at 3am. You’ll be pleased when machines are back upNot surprised at the yes votes leading, but I am surprised at the size of the lead.
I'm a no vote.
Worster,
Isn't it about time the History Channel brings back that great series they did on WWII? Of course it was 47 or so episodes, but was very good.
OMG I was just recently telling my wife I could probably capture 98.3% of all the movies on that channel with one story line, and you just did it. I'm going to read this to her for evidence (and give you credit of course).I have sat through too many- 1 is too many.

Most in the football operation do not deserve the accomplishment that comes with a bowl game. Sam and the unsung squad guys who toil away in practice with little to no chance of ever seeing substantial time on the field are the only ones who deserve a trip (if bowl games can be called that this year). It is a vast wasteland.
If offered, Texas should go to a bowl. For all his problems in the regular season, Herman has three good bowl wins at Texas. A nice win would provide some accomplishment for what has been a very disappointing year.
1. I love Hallmark Christmas movies and am excited that they now have a Hanukkah movie.
2. I love WWII programming. And I still consider Band of Brothers to be the best thing I’ve ever seen on any size screen.
3. I would like a bowl game because of the extra practice, but only if reasonable precautions are observed. However, I won’t cry if we don’t go to one.
Vino- as of 8:38 CST I am sitting here powering through this right now...OMG I was just recently telling my wife I could probably capture 98.3% of all the movies on that channel with one story line, and you just did it. I'm going to read this to her for evidence (and give you credit of course).
My prescription - take two hours of anything on AHC and call me in the morning.
Look, guys, y’all can mock Hallmark Christmas movies all you want. But I have a very challenging job: all day long, I talk on the phone to people whom I can’t really help, despite my intense desire to do so. All I can do is tell them to keep calling the TWC until they get through. At the end of the day, I feel emotionally drained, like I’ve been chewed up and spit out. And all the while, I feel a strong sense of guilt because I know that my own situation is not nearly as bad as the situations of the people that I spend all day talking with on the phone. I have a job.
All day long, I feel like I lose. When I sit down to watch television, I want to win. And I win watching Hallmark Christmas movies because they always have a happy ending.
It’s not that hard to figure out why these movies resonate with so many people.
So, will this be a yes vote for UT football in a bowl game on TV?.

I’ve already said that I’m a yes vote. The team can use the extra practice. However, I won’t be heartbroken if we don’t play in a bowl. So, will this be a yes vote for UT football in a bowl game on TV?
It's a risk, but at 6-3 (66%), this year's team is winning at a higher rate than Tom Herman's average (63%)
